Welcome to a Revolution on Two Wheels: Sideshow Trail

Hey outdoor enthusiasts and mountain bikers! Get ready for some electrifying news out of Boise, Idaho. If you’re someone who craves a bit of adventure mixed with aesthetic beauty, you're in for a treat. Let’s take a mesmerizing ride through the narrative of the Sideshow mountain biking trail, set to redefine your thrills this summer.

The Birth of a Trail

Nestled in the vibrant Boise Foothills, the highly anticipated Sideshow Trail is on its way, with construction launching in mid-April on BLM land. Spanning two engrossing miles, this trail is a pure adrenaline rush designed specifically for downhill mountain biking fanatics. It connects the scenic Corrals Trail to Bob’s Trail and the 8th Street Connection. And guess what? No pedestrians, no horseback riders, no dogs. Just you, your bike, and the path—sounds like a deal, doesn’t it?

Why Sideshow? Because You Asked for It!

We heard you—the Ridge to Rivers Trail System users. You wanted more downhill options and Sideshow is our resounding answer to help relieve those congested trails and provide a silky-smooth ride strictly dedicated to bikers. It’s all about creating that special 'bikers only' zone to enhance your riding experience without interruptions.

The Wizards Behind the Creation

The design and construction baton is held by Integrated Trail LAB, the trail wizards from Bozeman, Montana. With a hefty $150,000 warmed up for the project courtesy of Boise Parks & Recreation, the anticipation buzzes through the air, with dreams set to reach fruition by this summer.

David Gordon—The Trailmaster Speaks

David Gordon, our visionary Trail Manager, praises the Ridge to Rivers partnership and local landowners, whose unbridled support has been instrumental. “Offering a variety of trails enriches everyone’s experience,” says David. And indeed, we are setting the stage for a more balanced and engaging trail system.

What’s in It for You?

Imagine hurtling down a dedicated path, with the wind in your face and a backdrop that’s straight off a postcard. The Sideshow will serve up an exclusive new route that promises not just a ride, but an adventure, beckoning mountain bikers seeking that fresh new thrill.

The mastery of trail design by Integrated Trail LAB means every banked turn and smooth drop is calculated for maximum enjoyment and safety—tailored to exhilarate both novice riders and seasoned downhill experts. This trail isn't just built; it's crafted with precision and a flair for fun.

Why Wait? Get Involved!

Excited? We thought so. But don’t just count down the days. Get engaged. Share your thoughts, stir up conversations with fellow bikers, and spread the word. The trail of the future awaits your tracks.
