The Local Collective Values Statement

The Local Collective is a community of queer-owned and LGBTQIA+ affirming local businesses. By joining, I agree that my business will:

  • Welcome everyone. LGBTQIA+ customers, clients, and team members are treated with dignity and respect, including using correct names and pronouns.

  • Stay affirming year-round. Our support isn't just for Pride month. It shows up in how we serve people, hire, and show up publicly.

  • Support local and each other. We refer, collaborate with, and champion other Collective businesses when we can.

  • Keep it honest. The information I share about my business is accurate, and I'll keep it up to date.

  • Help keep this space safe. If a business in the directory isn't living up to these values, TLC may remove it.

Apply to the directory

It's free. Fill out a short application, and once approved, your business is listed.

Come to a gathering

Meet other owners a few times a year. Businesses that attend are featured in the HomeFound newsletter, which reaches more than 3,600 local inboxes, and get first access to new Collective opportunities.

About the directory

The Local Collective is a community project hosted by HomeFound Real Estate Group. Our role is simple: to bring together queer-owned and LGBTQIA+ affirming Idaho businesses that agree to our Values Statement. From there, it's up to you to decide which businesses are the right fit for you personally.

Not an endorsement. A listing in the directory does not mean HomeFound Real Estate Group, its agents or The Local Collective endorse, recommend, guarantee or are affiliated with any business, its owners, its products or services, or its views. Each business is independently owned and operated and is solely responsible for its own work, claims and conduct. We encourage you to do your own research before working with any business.

Approval and removal. Listing in the directory is free and is not guaranteed. HomeFound Real Estate Group reviews every application and may approve, decline, edit or remove any listing at any time, at its sole discretion and with or without notice, for any lawful reason, including when a business is not living up to the Values Statement. Businesses may ask to be removed at any time.

Accuracy. Directory information is provided by each business. We do our best to keep it current but can't guarantee it is accurate or complete.

Real estate. Because the directory is hosted by HomeFound Real Estate Group, other real estate agents and brokerages are not eligible to be listed.
